2006 Cantine dei Marchesi di Barolo Barolo Riserva
Muted, very faint cherries, pomegranate on the nose. Sweet, relatively forward (comparing to those 2010 that I drank), big fruits, decent body, of course tannins are still all over, austere. Slightly diluted, wine was fading after 1+ hour, I think the wine is not really made to last, but this is a riserva. Thus I am confused here. No recommendations.
