2006 Chateau Latour Pauillac
PITY
Was in a masterclass of tasting of numerous vintages of Latour, all these bottles came direct from the chateau. First whiff and I can detect dry cupboard, certainly cork taint already. Of course I alerted the organizer, but he said it wasn't cork taint but the character of this vintage! I cannot believe it, but I didn't want to argue about it plus I'm easygoing with cork taints. Content has massive tannins, but the fruits were surprisingly light and insufficient. Please share your 06 experience.
