2006 Didier Dagueneau Pouilly Fume Silex
This wine has got a very myriad character, very interesting! Served double blind, so u can imagine what kind of mind I hv cracked to almost nail this one! The nose started off very fragrant, very floral, but as time ticks away, it turned definitive pineapple nose. The palette started off very rich, extremely bitter, then slowly the richness disappeared, replaced with lean and bone dry style, but with very good depth & definitions. At this point I swear it was 100% Savignon Blanc. Not a bad attempt.
