2006 Domaine William Fevre Chablis Grand Cru Bougros
PREMIX OR OXIDATION?
I opened this bottle tonight, hoping it maybe on par with Dauvissat or Raveneau since it was so called the 3rd best producer in Chablis. To my disappointment, the nose was slightly oxidized, while the palette was only ripe apples or ripe tropical fruits, and then flat, almost chlorinated or chemical taste. I uncorked the wine myself and noticed the cork was loose, as the final turn of the cork started to move. So I'm pondering, is this premox or oxidized bottle? Anyone give a try?
