Serving next to the Pierre Morey Batard Montrachet 07 that I reported yesterday, this bottle gave Pierre a hard time initially. Right from the start the nose was exploding with floral notes. Content was consisted of massive fruit & butternut. However the taste stopped short at mid palate, although fruits were elegant. Eventually acidity took over, while fruits went into background and Pierre Morey won hands down on the last few sips.
