2007 Allegrini Veronese La Poja
Subdued nose, faint blackcurrant. A bit rough tannins, loads of blueberry (without the sugar), a bit short on the finish. Looks like this wine has grown up after I revisited it again. Although still some refined tannins, overall it has riped fruits, a bit restrained, but overall it gives me a feeling that it will mature by 2020 rather than 2030, much earlier maturity than expected. Bravo!
