Just when I thought Louis Carillon produced the best Bienvenues Batard Montrachet, this bottle re wrote history. We had the Louis Carillon BBM served the same night, but Etienne Sauzet took the limelight and most attendees Wine Of The Night!
Nose of sour notes, acasia honey, honey and white flowers. An extremely balanced wine on the palette, great elegance, powerful but not overwhelming, rich and buttery. What a drink, what a way to end the night with a high note! Step aside Carillon BBM!
