2007 Gantenbein Wine Chardonnay
SWISS CHARDONNAY!!!
I got every notes correct except for the label. Lemon, classic oak, very oily at later stage, refined wood, and very Bordeaux character these are only the nose. The body was great with lemony, rich, flavorful, very intense. However it got a bit lean towards the end. So, it was a grand cru nose but a premier cru body. I couldn't get the answer right (served double blind), alas, I never had this wine before! So I got no reference! Great stuff from Switzerland!
