2007 Henri Boillot Bienvenues Bâtard Montrachet Grand Cru
BE CAREFUL...
Henri Boillot was a great winemaker, particularly with its monopole Clos de la Mouchere. However, don't take all the labels equally! This Grand Cru BBM was not produced by the domaine, but bottled by negociant! Standard invariably not on par with domaine bottling.
Slightly smokey, light match sticks and mild gunpowder on the nose, was told the sulphur created these smell. Seriously elevated acidity that totally masked the fruits, making the fruits looked poor and dumb. So, buyers beware!
