2007 Siro Pacenti Vecchie Vigne Brunello di Montalcino
PAST HISTORY
I drank many vintages of this Siro Pacenti in the past, it wasn't a shining star up till 2009 and 2010, with a sudden jump of quality. As in the past, it was just yet another Brunello. Thus perhaps you'll have to seek the younger vintages out.
Nose of very light red cherries. Despite it's lightness, the palate was full of flavor. Unfortunately at the same time the weakness of dry and sourness also surfaced and was on par with the flavorful character. Thus I can't award a higher score.
