Tasting of a variety of Trimbach range of wines. Walk away feeling was that it was at best an average Alsace producer, even though initially I thought highly of them.
I was told it was a late harvest wine. Another tropical fruit nose, dominated by pineapple.
The sweetness and the pineapple taste was at an extreme scale. Thick and lushness, almost like a Sauternes bortrytis wine!
