2008 Didier Dagueneau Blanc Fume de Pouilly
IN MEMORY OF DIDIER DAGUENEAU
2008 was the vintage whereby Didier Dagueneau had his plane crashed, thus this vintage was a vintage I dedicated my honor to this eccentric winemaker. He vowed to create a Savignon Blanc that's the most unique, and he had achieved that with Pur Sang, Silex.
While this bottle was not at the siblings level, it still reflected his style. Palate was of warm honey drink, totally dominated the senses. Body with elevated acidity, unlike Didier's normal style. RIP my dear friend!
