2008 Domaine Leflaive Puligny Montrachet 1er Cru Les Folatières
SHARP AND ACIDIC
First time I was not impressed with Leflaive Folatieres, perhaps I have hardly drink it so young. Sharp lemony, and acidity hit my nose upon a whiff. The palette was also sharp and expectedly acidic too. I find the fruits were all hiding behind the acidity, nothing was showing. I know acidity of wine don't go off easily, so now I'm left wondering if the fruits will show up in the future? If not, then this is a disappointing Folatieres I have ever had.
