2008 Marco de Bartoli Passito di Pantelleria Bukkuram Padre della Vigna
DRY RAISINS
This was the first time I've ever had such wine, so I've got no precedence nor expectations.
The color was much deeper than my expectations, like a very aged Sauternes in the '20s. Loads of coffee on the nose, really intense.
Palate wise, syrup, leafy and slightly thick. I was told the grapes were dried for 4 weeks before going for fermentation. That explained the intensity.
