2008 Masseto Toscana

Like I said, somehow Masseto was immune to vintage variations, even this 2008 was performing way above and beyond expectations.
Nose of very light vanilla oak, along with very muted nose. Content was with massive tannins, in fact very dusty tannins. Ok fact the finishing was not as great as the 97, and palate was lighter than 06. However the weight of the wine counts; very intense fruits, very rich and very hot with loads of alcohol. Certainly a huge wine with great future.
