Attended Wine Advocates (Robert Parker) event Matter of Taste, and this highly scored bottle attracted my attention (WA96), so I gave it a try.
Almost fell off my chair with the content! How could anyone with the right frame of palate rated this as 96? Was it 96/200? Or wrongly written, instead it should be 69?
Sourish nose. The content was just as sour with horrible taste. Light and unexciting. Hopeless rating, hopeless wine. I feel bad for the critic. Or was there bribery involved?
