2009 Castelnau de Suduiraut Sauternes
BABY HUNK
In 2009, they produced the second label as well as the Grand Vin. I'd call the Grand Vin a matured hunk, while this second label fully qualified as a baby hunk, despite using mostly leftover grapes. If you find it too expensive to pay for the Grand Vin, this baby hunk is worth seeking out.
Slightly rich and creamy nose, the palate was completely along this line and far more exaggerated. The richness was on the extreme scale, so was the creaminess, with low acidity.
