2009 Chateau D'Armailhac Pauillac
I have been drinking a bottle of this label once a year, to watch the development. I am pleased, but also a bit sad, that the wine had evolved a bit too fast for a 2009 superb vintage. The last bottle I had, the fruits are subdued, today's bottle it has advanced a lot more than I expected, which means this may not be like the past Mouton Baronne Philippe that is much more age worthy to last 70 100 years, although I still liked the style. So I was a bit controversial tonight, happy but sad.
