2009 Duhart Milon Pauillac

Out of curiosity I opened this bottle tonight, as it was the same technical team that handles this vineyard's production as was Lafite Rothschild. I had so many 09, and I must confess that this Duhart is probably the lightest and the least intense wine from a powerful 09 vintage. Typical powerful Pauillac nose, in line with Lafite nose of dark fruits, smokes, graphite. The mouth fill was unexpectedly light and elegant, in line with past Duhart. I guess it was this vineyard's character.
