2009 Fairhall Downs Pinot Noir
Deep dark colour. Bouquet: Dark fruit characters with savoury notes and forest floor from the wild ferment. Palate: Rich pallet with great texture and ripe tanins.
Kiwi's burgundy, it's rather forward and modern in style, I am not sure I will fall in love with these new world wines, it certainly deviate from classic winemaking. I think I will still stick to old world burg even though it's a minefield by itself.
