2009 Henri Boillot Meursault 1er Cru Les Charmes
MEURSAULT SESSION..
We had the theme of whites only from Meursault. You can probably tell from my previous postings on various bottles. Henri Boillot, more famous for its Monopole Clos de la Mouchere, didn't do a lousy job in Meursault. Very refined woods, high class nose. The body was not as refined as the wood, a bit rough, although this weakness was masked by the strength of very seductive richness as well as elegance. Would have scored it higher if it can be not so rough.
