2009 Henri Boillot Puligny Montrachet 1er Cru Clos de La Mouchere Monopole
MICRO PLOT
Clos de la Mouchere is a Monopole plot and owned by Henri Boillot only, and it was a sub plot within Les Perrieres in Puligny Montrachet. I always enjoy a CdlM given any vintage, it's a superb wine for its price. A BH95 rating, I didn't rate it as high as I prefer big fruits over big acidity.
Bouquet of unique burned match stick. Palate was quite acidic, slightly towards the thinner and leaner style. However it was definitely not a skinny wine like some Meursault style. Will improve over time.
