2009 Louis Carillon & Fils Bienvenues Batard Montrachet Grand Cru
BROKEN RECORD
I maybe sound like your mother, singing a broken record tune over and over again. I have reviewed different vintages of Carillon's flagship Bienvenues Batard Montrachet, and I swear by it that no one else produced a better BBM than Louis Carillon. While it may not be the best Granc Cru, it certainly was high up there. Always utmost balance, be it the nose or palate, it's almost always an extremely balanced wine, rich but never overdone or overpowering. The balancing act is an art.
