2009 Verget Bougros Vieilles Vignes Chablis Grand Cru
BOUGROS
Bougros is one of the steepest of the Grand Cru slopes, facing southwest toward the afternoon sun. This aspect means the vines have a good exposure to sunlight, increasing ripening opportunities and leading to phenolic richness in the grapes.
My notes was based upon day 2 of tasting. Nose of powerful, strong, masculine, and almost kerosene.
Palate was load full of honey, ripe lemon, very flavorful. Buttery and average structured, had an extremely long after taste. Very deserving Grand Cru.
