2010 Aegerter Meursault Genevrieres
UNKNOWN MEURSAULT MAKER
First encounter for this winemaker called Aegerter who sent me a series of burgundy samples to taste, was surprised by the diversification of the range of their wines, so I took the whole afternoon to taste them.
This Meursault Genevrieres was decent quality. Strong and powerful nose, with fruity, ripe and slightly buttery character to boot. Decent length, slight lemony, and strong butter with chewy, thick and ripe. Not a typical Meursault style, a bit too forward.
