2010 Chateau Margaux
It had a hint of everything – iron, spice, cedar, cinnamon, musk and purple fruits and flowers. Its aromas were so long in an elegant way, but its palate was rich and expansive.
My goodness, my friend blinded this btl and asked me to guess the vintage & label! Never in my right frame of mind would get it right big, extremely tannic, extremely dense. I got partial answer that the dark chocolate & coffee giveaway as a Margaux of Pomerol. Not a bad attempt, but never would I thought it was Margaux 2010!
