2010 Chaume Des Ducs Meursault La Narvaux
VERTICAL MEURSAULT SURPRISE FIND!
Was having a random Meursault tonight, encountered all sorts of labels. This was an unheard of label to me, but punched above a lot of other Meursaults. Very concentrated fruits and refined woods on the nose. Very concentrated fruits (almost Leroy style!), lemony bordering buttery, very balanced wine with very rich tastes. Unfortunately I downgraded it to 4 stars after my first pour as it didn't keep up with the intensity. Was it a quick pull? Not sure.
