I had a same label but vintage of 2009, it was a disaster and I almost wrote the label off. But then a spare bottle was sitting around waiting to be consumed so I took my guts and opened it. Wasn’t as bad as I thought, in fact quite enjoyable. Quite an earthly nose as well as the palate, thick and decent lushness of the juice, although acidity was on a slightly higher side. The good fruits more than made up the weakness. JL Chave labels seemed to be quite a roller coaster.
