This is made of 100% Sangiovese grape from Montalcino, near Tuscany of Italy. Frankly, it didn’t strike me as a unique Brunello di Montalcino, bouquet of red cherry fruit accompanied with ripe fruit. Content is with elevated acidity, quite a typical Brunello di Montalcino, nothing that really caught my attention. Just a casual wine for a casual night.
