2010 Le Petit Haut Lafitte Pessac Leognan
SUPERB SECOND WINE Le Petit Haut Lafitte is the second wine of Smith Haut Lafitte. The quality it possessed exceeded my expectations as a 2nd wine. Frankly there wasn't many second wines that's impressive, I can only name a few: Carruades de Lafite, Les Forts de Latour, Reserve de la Comtesse. Nose of dark core cherries, mingled with bright red fruits, an attractive nose. Body was really lively, bright and relatively sophisticated, very engaging, does not disappoint with every sip. Optimal to drink now.
