GOOD PLOT
After the death of Louis Carillon, the brothers split the plots of burgundy lands. Jacques took the flagship BBM and Referts, Francois took this Combettes. This was his first vintage truly to himself, even though he has been working on the vineyard for years.
I was impressed with the quality presented. Nose of butter and forest freshness. Content was great, good flavor, rich and broad, very traditional Puligny Montrachet style, although not the focused type of wine like the Meursault style.
