2010 Smith Haut Lafitte Les Hauts de Smith

Not often I have to use this vocabulary to describe a wine, but this bottle turned out to be an absolutely fruit skin character. Think Pomelo or even lemon skins. The content was like the fruit skins were soaked or cooked with together with the wines, although the fruits overwhelmed the acidity of the fruits slightly. I enjoyed the liveliness of the content as it’s fresh and bouncy. Being a second wine of Smith Haut Lafitte, I must confess it’s a superb effort to be at such complex level.
