2010 Smith Haut Lafitte Pessac Leognan Blanc
WHITE LILY OF SMITH HAUT LAFITTE Today I hosted a dinner with chateau owners Daniel and Florence Cathiard of Smith Haut Lafitte with some of our customers. Cathiards bought SHL in 1990, and attained pinnacle winemaking skills in 25 years time, which was short for great vineyards. Graves produced one of the best Bordeaux whites, and SHL represented the Graves very well. I get a lot of white lilies, summer flower fragrance in this white. Totally amazing the quality was so good! I fell in love with them!
