2011 Chateau Hourtin Ducasse Haut Medoc De Bordeaux
POOR VINTAGE 2011 Bordeaux was really disappointing, very difficult to find any gem out there. This label from Pauillac did as poorly as everyone else from Pauillac. Nose was already very disappointing, like a bad stagnant water in the drain, smelly! Palette was extremely simple, pleasant and slightly elegant. The owner charged which is extremely expensive to me for such quality. Unfortunately Bordeaux winemakers think that their standard was a cut above the rest which by all means not true.
