2011 Chateau Tour de Marbuzet Saint Estephe
CLASSIC 2ND WINE Tour de Marbuzet is the second wine of Haut Marbuzet, a very traditional winemaker from St Estephe. Trade price is about €20/bottle which I find it a bit overpriced. Very classically made. Wine evolved in the glass (surprisingly), my first seep was a diluted wine. However it started to improve in the glass 15 min later, to my surprise. Body keeps improving, morphing from dilution to a full bodied classic backward wine. I successfully guessed the appellation in this blind serving.
