2011 Chiesa Toscana Opera In Nero
FINALLY
Finally chanced upon a Chianti that deserved some praises, as it was difficult to award them 4 stars. This one had to pay a price which is very high for a 4 star wine, so I'd be conservative with my review.
Barnyard nose, sadly. Content was where it shined, rounded, good depth, complex, layered, very decent effort. Another Chianti that's extremely cherry or prune driven.
