In the 3rd flight of Referts from 18 producers, our dear organizer put the siblings of the Carillon family next to each other to have a showdown. Jacques inherited the prized plot of Referts, Francois took Combettes, now how far are their skills?
Obvious observation was that Jacques was the more toned down producer, but doesn’t mean soft meant submissive. Very muted bouquet with barely a trace of white flowers, the content was relatively forward, slight butter and grow over time.
