2011 Joseph Drouhin Vaudon Chablis Premier Cru
BE CAREFUL....
When you buy wines, you have to be careful what the label was telling you. I almost got caught thinking this was a Premier Cru Chablis. Indeed it was a Premier Cru, except that the grapes were sourced from all over the Premier Cru plots, rather than coming from a specific plot.
I keep downgrading the score in the blind tasting. Very charred butter nose. Extremely buttery (weird for a Chablis), creamy, ok length, very caramel butterscotch. Drouhin can't make decent Chablis.
