2011 Julia Kemper Touriga Nacional
YOUNG AND NOT READY
The winemaker served me this glass without telling me the vintage, and I'm not very familiar with touriga nacional grape varieties, all I can give was my frank opinion.
Muted nose, slowly turned medicinal, a sign that it was still young. Palate was rich, flavorful, quite friendly, quite tannic, and not quite ready. Surprised to learn that the vintage was 2011. I'd say put it away for another 5 8 years please.
