2011 Pavie Macquin Saint Emilion
Had a revisit of Bordeaux 2011 today. Quick summary: 1. It's a cab sav vintage, most left banks produced good wines. 2. Right bank can't really make it. 3. Quality is not across the board, pick your labels carefully. Onion of the flight. Green, raw, blend of red & dark fruits on the nose. Palette was with huge sharpness, acidic & attacking. Poor style, really not my type (or not for majority of the people) of wine.
