2011 Vincent Dauvissat Chablis
VILLAGE GEM
I'd be happy to drink this village level wine in replacement of some Grand Cru productions from lesser known producers. Dauvissat obviously knew about their winemaking skills, the use of very little oak in order not to adulterate the content of the wine, and that was made in perfection. This village level wine just lacked some intensity and fruit power penetration, other than these weaknesses, its a really balanced and impressive wine at Bourgogne level. Strongly recommended for Chablis lovers.
