2012 Brane Cantenac Margaux
BORDEAUX MARGAUX 2012 REPORT
Amongst the left bank, I will prefer the Margaux appellation over Saint Julien, Pauillac and Graves (didn't taste enough St Estephe). The stars are surprisingly:
1. Giscours
2. Lascombes
Brane Cantenac is obviously on the downhill, have not had a great Brane for the past few vintages. This one is no difference, ripe cooked fruits on the nose, coupled with light, forward and ripe fruits on the palette. Actually not a bad effort comparing to other Margaux wines.
