2012 Chateau Lascombes Margaux
BORDEAUX MARGAUX 2012 REPORT
Amongst the left bank, I will prefer the Margaux appellation over Saint Julien, Pauillac and Graves (didn't taste enough St Estephe). The stars are surprisingly:
1. Giscours
2. Lascombes
Finally I hit on a very unique (but typical) Margaux today. Typical in a sense that the extreme loads of coffee and chocholates which are typical for Margaux wines finally showed up! Unique in a way that it didn't taste like any other Margaux 12 wines, very sweet, espresso, sweet berries, alcohol
