2012 Domaine Leroy Bourgogne Blanc
EVEN VILLAGE LEVEL....
The name Leroy manned by Lalou Biz Leroy, cannot go wrong, even at the village level for this Bourgogne. She used to work for DRC, had some disputes, branched off by herself. She's viewed like Picasso, having her own frame of mind, and her own way of how to run her vineyard. On hindsight her success was due to her perseverance. This wine had summer flower and lemon on the nose. The palette, very concentrated pears and peaches instead. It's a total pleasure to drink it over lunch.
