2012 Gunderloch Rothenberg Spätlese Riesling

Served in a blind tasting that I totally do not have a clue about, so I am starting to learn about these Rieslings, please educate me. For this bottle, the owner is my friend's friend, and very low profile here. I loved the very elegant nose obviously made of some oak that's not familiar to me. Palette is elegant, moderately sweet and oily, good minerality and great balance of fruits and acidity for the wine.
