VERTICAL OF ROSSIGNOL TRAPET
An up and coming burgundy maker going biodynamic, I attended a vertical tasting to find out what's great. The Chapelle Chambertin is a league by itself. The Premier Cru needs improvement. This one had dark cherries on the nose, almost like a Nebbiolo grape. Palette was average, huge load of cherries, elevated acidity, slightly tannic and slightly diluted. Just another average red burgundy.
