VERTICAL OF ROSSIGNOL TRAPET
An up and coming burgundy maker going biodynamic, I attended a vertical tasting to find out what's great. The Chapelle Chambertin is a league by itself. In fact, this village wine was much better than the two premier cru I had. Big nose, smokey, dense and loads of cherries. Heavyweight on these characters: weight, density, fruits. A bit rough on the finishing. It has all the power but lacks elegance on the palette.
