2013 Briego Supernova Crianza
CHEAP TASTE
How do I define a cheap taste? The vanilla oak was almost non existent, or I tasted the wood rather than oak, or I tasted irregular wood presence. Next, it was the fruits sourness or greenness was obviously a giveaway of unripe grapes; or very light body without complexity was also a sign. Lastly, whether it added artificial sugars or not, or we call it chapterization, the wine tasted a bit artificial.
This Crianza possessed all these characters, thus I had to award a poor score to it.
