2013 Chateau Giscours Margaux
BORDEAUX 2013 WRITE OFF #4
In my 20 years of tasting Bordeaux wines, I have never come across a vintage as bad as 2013. This vintage apparently lacked tannins and structure to last a decade, not to mention that there's no way it can survive for multiple vintages.
However for Margaux appellation it didn't do too badly. This Giscours did especially well, and has been on fire for the last few vintages. A Palmer in the brewing?
Nose: Red fruits, extremely fruity, acidic. Palate was very soft & mellow.
