2013 Chateau Grand Bateau Bordeaux Blanc
BORDEAUX SAVIGNON BLANC Not often that I come across a 100% Savignon Blanc. The only one that I knew of that came from Bordeaux was Pavillon Blanc du Chateau Margaux. This would have been the second 100% Savignon Blanc from Bordeaux. Nose of lean fruits, lemon and grapefruit, just a faint nose. Body was screaming acidity, as expected, Savignon Blanc was lean, tight, skinny, unlike their Chardonnay counterpart which would have been more fruity. Thus I think it's not difficult to identify Savignon Blanc.
